Our maps are made from beautiful birch plywood. Natural variances in the wood grain ensure a unique work of art. Once the map is cut, it is hand sanded multiple times, mounted on a blue board to highlight the water, and given a clear coat for a lustrous wood shine. Proudly made in the USA by American workers in an American owned business.

Standard Engraving:
    • Presque Isle served as a base for Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry's fleet in the War of 1812.
    • With the importance of shipping on Lake Erie in the 19th century, Presque Isle became home to several lighthouses and what later became a United States Coast Guard station. In 1921, it became a state park.
    • A National Natural Landmark since 1967, the park has been named one of the best places in the United States for watching birds.
